About Us

58 YEARS

The Clarkson Society of Artists now celebrates it's 58th year of being well-known for the high calibre of its members' artwork.

MEMBERSHIP

As the membership of the group has changed and evolved over the years, the spirit and professionalism of the artists has remained constant. We are a close-knit family of painters who meet weekly to work and socialize together.

MEDIUMS

We work in many different mediums - watercolour, acrylic, oil, collage, acrylic and alcohol inks, mixed media and more - and many styles from realism to abstract and whimsical interpretations of familiar subjects.

WORKSHOPS

We participate in workshops conducted by reputable artists in various mediums and styles. The talents of our artists, along with the eagerness to be constantly learning, are responsible for the quality and diversity of our annual show (online in 2020 due to COVID-19).
